We try our best to prevent damage to all packages during transit by packing each order carefully. Unfortunately, there will be the occasional damaged shipment. In this case, please hold onto all of the packaging and contact us immediately. Please make sure that you do not discard part of the package. Carefully describe the condition of the packaging material and the ordered items. A representative of the shipping company may pick up the package from your location in order to inspect the damage. Because we insure all of our packages, we will try our best to replace the damaged items for you as soon as possible.
You may return most new, unopened bird supplies with original tags still attached to the items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund minus the original shipping costs even if Free Shipping option was used. We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, etc.). Otherwise, if you want to return an item, you will be responsible for the return shipping fee getting the product back to us. Returns must be sent via a reputable shipping company such as UPS, USPS or FedEx and must have a tracking number.
Cloth bird supplies including cotton bird perches, birdie boings and bungees, bird toys or bird leashes and health related bird supplies including medications, shampoos and opened vitamins are non refundable due to health & sanitation issues.
Refused / Return To Sender - If you refuse an order or send the order back as return to sender, you will be charged both the original shipping fee as well as the cost of return shipping. NO exceptions.
You should expect to receive your refund within two to three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Expedited / Faster Shipping Options - Most bird supplies on our website can have expedited shipping if you need them right away. The cost for the faster shipping will depend on how quickly you need the items, how much the packaged bird supplies weigh, box size and where you are located. Please call us or email us if you need faster shipping and we can get you a custom price quote.
Delivery Speed - Most in stock orders are shipped within 2 business days. Some items are shipped direct from the manufacturer or distributor and are not eligible for expedited shipping.
Larger items such as large bird carriers and bird stands weighing over 8 lbs are typically shipped via UPS ground due to their size & weight.
