Perch Sizing & Installation: Make sure to choose a size in which the tips of the nails actually land on the sanded surface.  The picture of Skeeter, a Red Bellied Parrot, on the Safety Pumice Perch shows her on a perch that is installed incorrectly.  Make sure that the smooth surface faces up and the sanded surface is on the side where the toenails touch it in order to protecti the foot pads and trim the toe nails.
