With so many species of parrots, may be faster and easier to shop bird supplies by type of bird.
Parrots Vary By Size & Supplies They Need
Parrots vary considerably by size, care needs and temperment. So ... for instance parakeet would need completely different pet bird supplies than an African Grey Parrot. Even our own two species of African Grey Parrots need different sized supplies. Our Congo, Smokey, is bigger all around. He chews bigger toys, needs bigger perches and needs a bigger bird bed. And, he is a lot more spirited. Our Timneh, Timmy, on the other hand, becomes a little overwhelmed with a thicker bird perch that Smokey would enjoy.

Why We Inquire About Your Bird Type
Maybe it seems like an invasion of privacy when we ask you to identify what kind of parrot these bird supplies are for...
With about 19 species of Macaw's and at least 15 species of Conures, you need to be able to rely that the place you are buying bird supplies from will check and double check that you are buying the right products. No one enjoys buying stuff over the internet - only to find out that you didn't get a useful item. Information about your pet bird is always held in confidence.
Your privacy is important to us. Just because we ask you about what type of parrot you plan to use the supplies for, doesn't mean that we'll blab it to anyone.
We care at BirdSupplies.com! We are passionate about you and your parrots - and it shows in our customer service. If the item(s) you ordered are not right for your bird, we will literally call you up or email you and discuss your order with you. We don't care whether the order is shipping within the U.S. or all the way to Australia! We want all parrots to get the loving care that they need and deserve. No one enjoys the hassle of trying to return something that doesn't fit or work for their bird.
When you let us know what type of bird you're purchase is for, we can email, call or text you in case you ordered something that we don't think is appropriate for your bird.
Think how much hassle that saves you! Large, big box pet stores don't take the time to do that. They just want to get the order out and cross their fingers that you don't return it.
We want you and your bird to be happy with your purchase right out of the box.
