Pak O Bird Bird Carriers are available in several sizes so all parrots can experience the enrichment that this bird carrier offers:

  • X-Small Bird Carrier: 10" L x 8" W x 11.5" H; for Cockatiels, Parakeets, Parrotlets and Lovebirds, Senegals
  • Small  Pak O Bird Carrier: 13" L x 10" W x 14" H; Suitable for Quakers, Senegals, Caiques, Small Conures, up to Timneh African Greys and Goffins
  • Medium Bird Carrier with Tail Pouch: 15" L x 12" W x 18" H (6" long tail pouch can be extended from base or folded flat underneath carrier.) Great for small to medium parrots with long tail feathers!

Adjustable:  All sizes of Pak O Bird Carriers allow height adjustments for both perch and cup positions, thereby accomodating both short and long tailed parrots.  
 
Materials:  Pak O Bird Carriers are made from durable, high-tech sailcloth.  These bird carriers have privacy curtains which are secured with clip style hooks from the exterior.  The curtains allow you to use this bird carrier in variable weaher conditions and are great for fearful parrots.
 
Accessories: Detachable support panels, 2 backpack straps (for front or back carrying), shoulder strap, removable washable mat, 2 stainless steel food cups, dragonwood perch. Backpack straps accommodates people of all sizes with various shoulder height selections.
 
Mesh:  Choose from Nylon Mesh or Stainless Steel Mesh. The stainless steel mesh has 100 x 100 stainless steel threads of approximately 0.0035mm diameter in each square inch. It is dense enough to minimize** the possibility of your bird chewing through it, yet it allows a reasonable view to the inside.  
Please Note: Stainless steel mesh incurs creases during manufacturing and shipping processes. Creases on the stainless steel mesh does not harm the quality of this bird carrier. We strongly recommend that you supervise your parrot at all times whenever it is outside. Curtains: Front Window to keep out the elements: May be unzipped & rolled up to give your bird a view. Each side has roll up curtains that can closed to darken the bird carrier and keep out the elements. Questions? Please contact us with questions regarding the Pak O Bird Carrier.
    • **Even with stainless steel mesh, some birds can still damage the Pak O Bird Carrier. The manufacturer offers repair services for a small fee. Bitter Apple Spray may deter chewing. There are several factors the may attribute to a bird chewing the inside of Pak O Bird Carriers.
      • 1. Nervousness
      • 2. Lack of distraction i.e.. toys.
      • 3. The disposition of your parrot.

    We were so impressed by the quality of the item and I wanted to let you know, Skeet is adapting quite well to it and seems to look forward to stepping into it. I think he knows that means he gets and outing. Thank you so much for getting it to us so quickly. I am considering adding to our flock someday and if I do, I will certainly order another for our new fid.

    Hi Diane, Just wanted to let you to know that I received the Pak O Bird on Wednesday, 09/02/09. Thanks to much for ensuring it would be the green one. Yipe, I love it already. My bird is still looking at it, but does not seem afraid of it. Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks he will adjust and we will be off for walks, picnics, etc.
