Beautiful Eclectus Parrots are medium to large sized parrots that have distinctive coloring amongst the sexes.  Eclectus Parrots "kick having an exotic bird up a notch!" With wispy feathering, these Australian parrots are stunningly beautiful.  Eclectus live about 50 years with optimum care and stringent attention to providing the best Eclectus Food.  We strongly suggest that you learn why and what to feed the Eclectus Parrot because they don't do well with cheap bird food and even most premium pellets are not suited for this beautiful bird.  

Eclectus parrots have poor health when fed bird food with additives including food preservatives, added vitamins and minerals and coloring.

Eclectus Parrots make excellent pets because they are relatively quiet, they can be good talkers, they are generally easy going and they are a great size.
