• The tree is securely attached to the base with an aluminum plate. The aluminum plate is then securely fixed to an easy-to-clean Melamine base. The base is then trimmed with solid pine. This method prevents the tree from wobbling on the base. As you know, too much wobbling will expand the screw holes causing the tree to detach from the base. Base Size Aprroximately: 30"L x 24"W.
• Versatility: Optional 3' Legs for an Elevated Bird Stand (casters not included)
• Sandblasting is standard! Not an upgrade. Sandblasting removes Manzanita's slippery bark and adds enough texture to the branch surface to insure a comfortable grip on your parrots feet.
• Superior attention to all mounting holes. Each mounting hole is countersunk, plugged and sanded smooth to remove temptation for chewing
• Tree is shipped fully assembled. Many tree manufacturers will ship you trees that you have to assemble, but beware! Your bird will take it apart in no time! This shipping method requires the manufacturer to assemble and disassemble the tree, thus, loosening and expanding screw holes. As your bird is enjoying it's new stand, it's climbing and play allows the screws to loosen and protrude for your bird to unscrew! You will then be buying another tree in no time. 
• Hand picked Branches. Each branch is carefully chosen and painstakingly sanded so you won't receive a tree full of cracks and chips that catch debris and scream "CHEW ME!"  Other companies will send trees with cracked branches that don't hold screws well and tell you that "Manzanita is a natural product that naturally cracks." While that is true.....Manzanita does crack as it dries, quality craftsmen who care about their bird stands take the time to hand pick branches that are less likely to split.
